Transfer Site
Located at N8899 Hwy 45, Summit Lake, WI
The transfer site is located on Hwy 45 between Cty Hwy B and Koepenick (Hwy J) Road on the east side of the highway. The hours of operation are:
Winter Hours:
Wednesdays: 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Saturdays: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Summer Hours:
Wednesdays: 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Saturdays: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sundays (Memorial Day through Labor Day only): 10:00 am. to 3:00 p.m.
Accepted Items: Iron, tin, metal, furniture and regular recyclables and garbage
Please practice responsible recycling habits.
Unacceptable Items: Yard waste, motor oil, any oil, tires, building materials, liquid paint, all electronics
NEW RESIDENTS/LAND OWNERS MUST REQUEST A DUMP PERMIT FROM THE TRANSFER SITE ATTENDANT. BE PREPARED TO PROVE YOU OWN PROPERTY IN THE TOWN OF UPHAM

Glass: Goes In Your Recycling
- Food & Beverage bottles & jars

- Window glass
- Ceramics & china
- Drinking glassware
Metal: Goes In Your Recycling
- Aluminum bottles & cans
- Steel & tin cans
Does NOT Go In Your Recycling:
- Propane tanks
- Aluminum pans and foil
- Empty paint cans
- Scrap metal
- Metal Cookware
